  • How do I clean / care for my product?

    To clean wooden surfaces, use a neutral pH detergent and warm water in a well-wrung cloth. Afterwards, you should clean it with water and finally dry it.

    To preserve the appearance and finish, be aware of not to use:
    - Alkaline or aggressive cleaning products,
    - Solvent
    - Preparations containing abrasives,
    - Abrasive tools.

    Remember to never leave cleaners or other liquids on the surface for a long time.
    For furniture and surfaces for public use, it is also important to remember that disinfectants that contain a high concentration of alcohol or alkaline substances, such as 70% alcohol, should not be used. Note that newly painted surfaces are susceptible to scratching. Surface final resistance is only achieved after about a month. Tape and other foreign substances such as adhesives and moisturizers can soften the treated surface and cause peeling / paint drop.

  • How do I assemble my product?

    Our products are easy to assemble and they take about 10 minutes for you to assemble on your own. When you open your order, a QR code with the instruction manual will be there, or you can see it on the product page on our website.
  • Where do they produce the products?

    We produce in Portugal, due to the know-how existing in our country and in order to bet on the national industry.
    In addition, we are able to ensure that our values ​​are met throughout the product's development, as well as making sure that the environmental process and social responsibility practices are respected.
  • What materials do they use?

    The predominant material in our products is solid wood: Oak, Beech and Ash. We also use oak veneered MDF. Our finishes are: oiled or lacquered black matt open pore. We use secondary materials such as metal, mirrors and other accessories.
  • What's the deadline?

    After purchase, we process your order and ship it within 3-5 days later. Afterwards, your order will take within 3-5 days to arrive at your home.
    In total we deliver your order within 10 working days.
  • Which countries do you deliver to?

    Made in Portugal, we deliver Backhome products in France, Spain, England and Portugal.

  • How can I track my order?

    As soon as we send your order, you’ll get an email with a tracking number. You’ll get a link so you can track/check the status of the order.

  • Can I cancel my order?

    Yes, you can cancel your order within 48 hours, as long as the product hasn’t left our warehouses. For this you must contact us via email, indicating the order number, the product reference and the reasons for cancellation.

    If the order is already in transit, the cancellation will be treated as a return.

  • How can I return my order?

    You must contact us via email: You have 14 days to return since you receive the product, however we do not accept returns on any product that has been fully or partially assembled, altered and / or used.

    To return, the product must remain in its original packaging and keep all accessories and instructions for use attached.

    It is important to always attach a copy of the invoice and also photos that prove that the article was not assembled and is intact, as well as its packaging.

    The return costs are always assumed by the user (even if the order has been placed during a free shipping promotion). That is, the cost of return will be equivalent to the shipping costs without discounts or promotions.

    If the product is damaged, or if parts are missing, you must communicate with us via email - - with delivery and reading receipt within 30 (thirty) days from receipt of the order, where you explain the incidence and you must have the invoice and the product reference with you. In case of manufacturing flaws, we guarantee the cost of transport.
  • How long after I am reimbursed?

    The refund is made with the same payment method that was used in the purchase (when paying with an ATM reference it is necessary to send the bank details to our customer support, at the moment you start the return process). It is crucial to take into account that the deposit may take time to be visible in the bank account, depending on the payment method.
  • Do you accept exchanges?

    No, the product can be returned (see return conditions) and, in case of any occurrence, we also guarantee resolution of the problem.
  • Do the products have warranty?

    Yes, our products have a 2-year warranty. This period is considered from the date of the product invoice and can only be exercised upon presentation of the guarantee certificate  or proof of purchase (invoice) duly completed.
    Products that have passed these two years or that have damages caused by improper assembling, negligence or accidents and use of non-original accessories are considered out of warranty conditions. .
